Overview

This multi-agent chemotherapy regimen was evaluated in the NLG-T-01 clinical trial conducted by the Nordic Lymphoma Group, which included the University of Aarhus. The protocol consists of a dose-intensive induction phase using the CHOEP regimen (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, etoposide, and prednisone) followed by a high-dose consolidation phase using the BEAM regimen (carmustine, etoposide, cytarabine, and melphalan). The treatment is supported by autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) and granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) to manage hematological toxicity. This sequential approach was designed for treatment-naive patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL), excluding ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and has demonstrated significant efficacy in improving progression-free and overall survival in this patient population.
