Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate + fluoride (CPP-ACPF) is a dental remineralization agent that combines CPP-ACP with fluoride to enhance tooth remineralization and prevent demineralization. CPP-ACP is derived from milk protein casein and serves as a carrier for calcium and phosphate ions, stabilizing them in an amorphous phase and increasing their bioavailability at the tooth surface. The addition of fluoride aims to enhance the remineralization process by promoting the formation of fluorapatite, which is more resistant to acid dissolution than hydroxyapatite.
