Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CasInvent Pharma is developing a selective small-molecule inhibitor of Casein Kinase 1 (CK1) specifically for the treatment of Colorectal Cancer (CRC). Casein Kinase 1 is a family of serine/threonine protein kinases that play a pivotal role in regulating various cellular signaling pathways, most notably the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway, which is frequently dysregulated in colorectal malignancies. By selectively targeting CK1, this therapeutic candidate aims to modulate these oncogenic pathways to suppress tumor growth and progression. The program is currently in the early stages of development as part of CasInvent Pharma's pipeline of CK1-targeted therapies.
