CC-122 + sorafenib is an investigational **combination therapy** of two orally administered small molecules: **CC-122** (a newer generation immunomodulatory imide drug, or IMiD) and **sorafenib** (a multikinase inhibitor). This combination is being studied primarily for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). CC-122 is designed to have immunomodulatory, antiangiogenic, and direct antineoplastic effects, while sorafenib inhibits multiple kinases involved in tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis, including RAF kinases and receptor tyrosine kinases such as VEGFR and PDGFR. The rationale for this combination is to target complementary pathways involved in HCC progression, aiming for greater efficacy than either drug alone. As of the latest available data, this combination is under clinical investigation (NCT02323906) and has not been approved for any indication[4].
