Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CCL@Bmi1 siRNA** is an investigational lipid-coated calcium carbonate nanocapsule formulation that co-delivers cisplatin and a small interfering RNA directed against **BMI1**. The siRNA component suppresses BMI1-associated cancer stem-cell programs and multidrug-resistance biology, while cisplatin produces DNA damage. In cisplatin-resistant ovarian cancer cell and mouse models, the formulation increased cisplatin sensitivity and suppressed tumor growth without notable systemic toxicity. It is a preclinical nanotherapeutic reported by investigators at Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital and Qinghai University. ([pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41922680/))
