Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CD19 + BCMA CAR-T (SenlangBio) is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to simultaneously target CD19 and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA). Developed by Hebei Senlang Biotechnology, this dual-targeted approach aims to deplete both B cells and long-lived plasma cells, which are key drivers in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. The therapy is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial (NCT07435779) for the treatment of refractory and relapsing ulcerative colitis, where it is intended to induce clinical remission by resetting the immune system through the elimination of pathogenic B-cell lineages.
