CD19 CAR-T (Peking University People's Hospital) is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, specifically B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). The therapy utilizes either autologous or donor-derived T cells that have been genetically engineered to express a CAR targeting the CD19 antigen, a protein widely expressed on the surface of B-lineage cells. Upon infusion, these modified T cells recognize and bind to CD19-positive leukemia cells, triggering T-cell activation and subsequent tumor cell lysis. Peking University People's Hospital has advanced this program into Phase 3 clinical trials, focusing on patients with minimal residual disease (MRD) following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), as well as relapsed or refractory B-ALL.
