CD19 CAR-T cells (Beijing Boren Hospital) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being investigated for the treatment of various B-cell mediated autoimmune diseases. Developed by Beijing Boren Hospital, the therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets the CD19 antigen, which is ubiquitously expressed on B-lineage cells. By targeting and eliminating these B cells, the therapy aims to deplete the source of pathogenic autoantibodies and reset the immune system. Clinical investigations at Beijing Boren Hospital have focused on patients with refractory conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, and other B-cell related autoimmune disorders.
