CD19 CAR-T cells (The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University) is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. It consists of T cells harvested from a patient and genetically modified to express a humanized CAR specific for the B-lymphocyte antigen CD19. While CD19 is primarily associated with B-cell malignancies like lymphoma and leukemia, it is also expressed on a subset of myeloma cells and their progenitors.
