CD22 CAR T cells (Beijing GoBroad Hospital) is a second-generation chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Beijing GoBroad Hospital (specifically the Boren branch) for the treatment of B-cell malignancies. This cell-based biologic utilizes autologous or donor-derived T cells that are genetically modified using lentiviral vectors to express a CAR construct targeting the CD22 antigen. The CAR is composed of a humanized anti-CD22 single-chain variable fragment (scFv) fused to 4-1BB (CD137) costimulatory and CD3ζ signaling domains. It is primarily indicated for patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), particularly those who have failed CD19-targeted therapies or relapsed following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. In clinical settings, it is frequently administered in a sequential protocol following CD19 CAR T-cell infusion to achieve deeper remissions and mitigate the risk of antigen-escape relapses.
