CD70 CAR-T cells are an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to target CD70 (also known as TNFSF7), a surface protein frequently overexpressed in various malignancies including renal cell carcinoma, ovarian cancer, and cervical cancer, while maintaining limited expression in healthy tissues. Developed as an investigator-initiated therapy by Dr. Weijia Fang at Zhejiang University, these engineered T cells are programmed to recognize and eliminate CD70-positive tumor cells. The therapy is currently undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation to assess safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors, utilizing both intravenous and intraperitoneal administration routes.
