Ceftriaxone is administered intravenously at induction and postoperatively to provide systemic coverage. Vancomycin, a glycopeptide antibiotic, is applied locally by soaking the tendon graft in a solution for 20 minutes prior to implantation. This dual-mechanism approach targets a broad spectrum of pathogens, specifically addressing the high incidence of Gram-positive infections, such as *Staphylococcus aureus*, which are common causes of graft contamination and subsequent arthrofibrosis or articular cartilage degeneration in orthopedic procedures.
