A combination of two drugs: **celecoxib**, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug primarily used to reduce inflammation and treat pain in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and familial adenomatous polyposis, and **ARRY-371797** (PF-07265803), an investigational oral small molecule inhibitor of p38 alpha mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK14). ARRY-371797 was developed for the treatment of LMNA-related dilated cardiomyopathy, working by blocking p38 alpha signaling implicated in the pathogenesis of cardiac dysfunction due to lamin A/C gene mutations. Celecoxib is marketed and approved, while ARRY-371797 was discontinued after reaching phase 3 trials for its main indication after acquisition by Pfizer from Array BioPharma[1][6][8].
