Overview

A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of celecoxib (a COX-2 inhibitor), cyclophosphamide (an alkylating agent), docetaxel (a taxane), and epirubicin (an anthracycline antibiotic). The three chemotherapy agents (cyclophosphamide, docetaxel, and epirubicin) are well-established in breast cancer treatment, with epirubicin damaging DNA in cancer cells and docetaxel being highly active against breast cancer. The addition of celecoxib, an anti-inflammatory drug, to this combination is not well documented in the literature.
