The rationale for this combination centers on synergistically enhancing both innate and adaptive antitumor immunity by combining COX-2 inhibition, cytokine therapy, checkpoint blockade, and TLR3 activation. This regimen is currently under clinical investigation in patients with advanced triple negative breast cancer[1].
