Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cemiplimab + dupilumab is an investigational combination therapy consisting of two fully human monoclonal antibodies. Cemiplimab is a programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1) inhibitor that enhances T cell-mediated antitumor responses by blocking the PD-1 pathway, thereby promoting immune system activity against cancer cells. Dupilumab targets the interleukin-4 receptor alpha subunit (IL-4Rα), inhibiting both IL-4 and IL-13 signaling, which are key drivers of type 2 inflammation. This dual blockade modulates immune responses and reduces inflammatory pathways implicated in various diseases. The combination is currently being studied as neoadjuvant therapy for early-stage, resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)[1][2][7].
