Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Celus-C is a herbal-based therapeutic product developed by Laboratorios Garden House Farmacéutica, primarily indicated for the treatment of cellulite and peripheral circulatory disorders. It is formulated as a combination of *Centella asiatica* extract and Vitamin C (ascorbic acid). *Centella asiatica* contains triterpenoids such as asiaticoside and madecassoside, which are known to stimulate fibroblast activity and enhance the synthesis of collagen and extracellular matrix components, thereby improving skin elasticity and connective tissue strength. Vitamin C acts as an essential antioxidant and a critical cofactor for prolyl and lysyl hydroxylases, enzymes required for the stabilization and cross-linking of collagen fibers. Together, these ingredients work synergistically to improve microcirculation and structural skin integrity.
