Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ceradan Cream and Ceradan Moisturising Wash are therapeutic skincare products used together as a regimen for managing eczema-prone, dry, and sensitive skin. The active ingredients in both products are based on a ceramide-dominant 3:1:1 ratio of essential skin lipids (ceramide, cholesterol, and free fatty acids), which mimics the natural lipid composition of the skin barrier. Ceradan Cream is a barrier repair moisturizer that restores skin barrier function, while Ceradan Moisturising Wash is a hypoallergenic, soap-free body wash enriched with the same lipid formulation to prevent lipid loss during cleansing. These topical emollient products work by replenishing the skin's physiological lipids to strengthen the protective barrier and reduce transepidermal water loss. They are indicated for atopic dermatitis, dry skin, and sensitive skin conditions across all age groups and are formulated without steroids, fragrances, or parabens.
