Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Cervarix + Boostrix Polio** refers to the concomitant administration of two vaccines: **Cervarix**, a recombinant vaccine targeting human papillomavirus (HPV) types 16 and 18 for the prevention of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions, and **Boostrix Polio**, a combined vaccine containing diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, acellular pertussis antigens, and inactivated poliovirus, indicated for booster immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and polio. Both vaccines stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies specific to their antigens, thus protecting against the targeted infections. Concomitant administration has been shown to not interfere with the immunogenicity of each component when given together.
