This drug combination is an investigational therapeutic regimen being evaluated for the first-line treatment of patients with RAS/BRAF wild-type, pMMR (mismatch repair proficient) unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). The regimen consists of four primary components: **cetuximab beta**, a monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR); **fruquintinib**, a highly selective small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR) 1, 2, and 3; and immune checkpoint inhibitors targeting **PD-1** and **CTLA-4**. This combination therapy is designed to simultaneously inhibit tumor cell proliferation, disrupt tumor angiogenesis, and enhance the anti-tumor immune response by overcoming immune evasion. The regimen is currently being studied in a Phase 2 clinical trial sponsored by Zhejiang University to determine if a chemotherapy-free approach can provide significant clinical benefit in this specific patient population.
