Cetuximab + Imprime PGG is an investigational combination therapy for cancer. Cetuximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), inhibiting ligand binding and downstream signaling and mediating antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. Imprime PGG (also known as BTH-1677 or odetiglucan) is a soluble beta-glucan immunomodulator that acts as a pathogen-associated molecular pattern to stimulate innate immune cells via Dectin 1 and Fc gamma receptor IIA pathways. The combination aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by leveraging both direct EGFR inhibition and innate/adaptive immune activation. This regimen has been studied in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) with KRAS wild-type tumors and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), showing improved objective response rates compared to historical controls or standard regimens[2][3][4][5].
