CG3001 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by RenJi Hospital for the treatment of CD19-positive B-cell malignancies. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells using a lentiviral vector to express a CAR specific for the CD19 antigen. Once re-infused into the patient, these redirected T cells recognize and eliminate CD19-expressing malignant B cells. CG3001 is primarily indicated for B-cell leukemia and B-cell lymphoma and is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and engraftment levels.
