Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of three different COVID-19 vaccines: ChAdOx1 (Oxford/AstraZeneca), mRNA-1273 (Moderna), and BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech). These are not typically administered together as a single combination product but may be used in heterologous vaccination schedules (mix-and-match approach). ChAdOx1 is a recombinant, replication-deficient chimpanzee adenovirus vector encoding the SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein. BNT162b2 is an mRNA vaccine that encodes a prefusion stabilized, membrane-anchored SARS-CoV-2 full-length spike protein. Both vaccines stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies and activate T cells to protect against COVID-19.
