Overview

Charlotte's Web is a full-spectrum hemp extract containing cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabinoids with less than 0.3% THC. It was originally developed by the Stanley Brothers in 2012 for Charlotte Figi, a girl with Dravet syndrome, whose seizures were significantly reduced by using this product. The extract is derived from a specific strain of hemp that maintains a high CBD to THC ratio (approximately 30:1). Charlotte's Web products are extracted using either carbon dioxide (CO2) or isopropyl alcohol methods to preserve various beneficial compounds including cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.
