Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Chidamide + DCAG is a combination therapy used primarily in the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The regimen consists of chidamide, a selective histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor, combined with the DCAG chemotherapy protocol. The DCAG regimen includes decitabine (a hypomethylating agent), aclarubicin (an anthracycline antibiotic), cytarabine (a nucleoside analog antimetabolite), and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF). Chidamide acts by inhibiting HDACs, leading to altered gene expression and promoting apoptosis in malignant cells. The combination aims to enhance anti-leukemic effects through epigenetic modulation and cytotoxic chemotherapy[1][2][5].
