Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This four-drug combination regimen is being evaluated for the treatment of pediatric patients with relapsed or refractory neuroblastoma. It combines **chidamide**, a selective histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor that modulates the epigenetic landscape and enhances immune recognition; **dinutuximab beta**, a monoclonal antibody targeting the disialoganglioside GD2 expressed on neuroblastoma cells; and the cytotoxic chemotherapy backbone of **irinotecan** and **temozolomide**. The rationale for this combination is to leverage the synergistic effects of epigenetic priming and immunotherapy alongside DNA-damaging agents to overcome resistance in high-risk neuroblastoma. The regimen is currently under investigation in a Phase II clinical trial sponsored by Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital.
