chidamide + envafolimab

Chidamide + envafolimab is a combination therapy being investigated primarily for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients who have developed resistance to anti-PD-1 therapy. Chidamide is a histone deacetylase inhibitor (HDACi) that selectively targets subtypes 1, 2, 3 of Class I and subtype 10 of Class IIb histone deacetylase. Envafolimab is a PD-L1 inhibitor (anti-PD-L1 antibody). The combination is thought to produce synergistic anti-tumor effects, with potential to prevent primary resistance and reverse secondary resistance to PD-1 inhibitor therapy. This combination has also been studied for functional cure of HIV infection, where it has shown effectiveness in activating latent HIV reservoirs.
