chidamide + etoposide

Chidamide + etoposide is an investigational combination therapy being evaluated for various hematological malignancies and solid tumors. Chidamide is an oral, selective histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor that targets HDAC1, 2, 3, and 10, leading to increased histone acetylation and modulation of gene expression. Etoposide is a cytotoxic chemotherapy agent that inhibits DNA topoisomerase II, resulting in DNA double-strand breaks and cell cycle arrest. Preclinical studies suggest that chidamide sensitizes cancer cells to etoposide by upregulating topoisomerase II expression and enhancing apoptosis through caspase activation. The combination is currently in early-phase clinical development for conditions such as relapsed or refractory NK/T-cell lymphoma, neuroblastoma, and hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
