Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Children's Acetaminophen + Amantadine Granules (小儿氨酚烷胺颗粒) is a pediatric combination small-molecule product developed and manufactured by Shenyang Dongxing Pharmaceutical Technology. It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of the common cold and influenza in children. The formulation combines acetaminophen, which exerts analgesic and antipyretic effects through the inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes and central analgesic pathways, with amantadine, which historically provides antiviral activity against Influenza A by blocking the M2 ion channel and possesses secondary CNS effects via NMDA receptor modulation. The product is administered orally as granules and is currently approved for use in China.
