Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Gerakon Forte is a branded generic oral combination medication developed and marketed by Biofarma for the symptomatic relief of common cold, flu, and upper respiratory tract infections. It is formulated as an immediate-release tablet containing three active ingredients: paracetamol (650 mg), an analgesic and antipyretic that reduces pain and fever; phenylephrine hydrochloride (10 mg), a decongestant that relieves nasal stuffiness by constricting blood vessels; and chlorpheniramine maleate (4 mg), a first-generation antihistamine that alleviates allergic symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes. Together, these components target multiple pathways to manage the systemic and localized symptoms of respiratory illnesses.
