Overview

OC212e is an orally administered combination therapy consisting of chlorphenesin carbamate (OC201) and hydroxychloroquine (OC202e), discovered using Oncocross's proprietary AI platform, RAPTOR AI. It is developed for the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer and the inhibition of cancer metastasis. Chlorphenesin carbamate acts as an inhibitor of AKT-mediated epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and PKCε signaling, while hydroxychloroquine acts as an autophagy inhibitor by preventing lysosomal acidification. Together, they synergistically suppress EMT, cancer cell invasion, and metastasis. In a multi-center Phase 2 clinical trial in South Korea, OC212e in combination with mFOLFIRINOX demonstrated a manageable safety profile and promising efficacy in patients with locally advanced unresectable or metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma, achieving a median overall survival of 14.8 months.
