chlorpheniramine + paracetamol + phenylephrine (Omnica Laboratories)

RINZ is an oral anticold combination tablet developed and manufactured by Omnica Laboratories in Nepal. It contains chlorpheniramine maleate (4 mg), phenylephrine hydrochloride (10 mg), and paracetamol (500 mg). Chlorpheniramine is a first-generation antihistamine that acts as an antagonist at the histamine H1 receptor to alleviate allergic symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose. Phenylephrine is a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist that acts as a decongestant by causing vasoconstriction in the nasal mucosa. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is an analgesic and antipyretic agent that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, primarily via cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, to reduce pain and fever. RINZ is indicated for the symptomatic relief of common cold, allergic rhinitis, and associated fever and body aches.
