cholecalciferol + raloxifene

A fixed-dose combination (FDC) tablet containing 60 mg of raloxifene hydrochloride and 800 IU of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), developed by Alvogen Korea. Raloxifene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that provides estrogen-like effects on bone (increasing bone mineral density and reducing resorption) while acting as an estrogen antagonist in the breast and uterus. Cholecalciferol is a precursor to the active form of vitamin D, which is essential for intestinal calcium absorption and maintaining skeletal health. This combination is indicated for the treatment and prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis, aiming to improve therapeutic outcomes and patient adherence by combining the primary medication with necessary vitamin D supplementation in a single daily dose.
