Overview
CHOP + daclizumab is a combination therapy consisting of the standard CHOP chemotherapy regimen (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone) plus daclizumab. Daclizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD25 (the alpha subunit of the interleukin-2 receptor), which is highly expressed on adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL) cells. The addition of daclizumab to CHOP aims to enhance anti-tumor activity by blocking IL-2 signaling in malignant T-cells. This combination has been studied primarily in aggressive ATLL associated with HTLV-I infection and has shown feasibility and some clinical benefit in early-phase trials[1][2][3].
