CHP-HER2 + CHP-NY-ESO-1 is a combination cancer vaccine composed of two nanoparticle-based protein vaccines, each consisting of a tumor antigen (HER2 or NY-ESO-1) complexed with cholesteryl pullulan (CHP). These vaccines are designed to induce immune responses against the HER2 and NY-ESO-1 antigens, which are overexpressed in various cancers. The combination aims to stimulate both humoral and cellular immunity by presenting multiple epitope peptides to MHC class I and II pathways, thereby activating CD8+ cytotoxic T cells and CD4+ helper T cells. Clinical studies have shown that this combination can elicit antigen-specific antibody responses in patients with esophageal cancer when administered subcutaneously with an immunoadjuvant such as OK-432. The approach targets multiple tumor-associated antigens simultaneously to enhance anti-tumor immunity[1][5].
