Overview
Ribatran is an oral systemic enzyme therapy developed by FRiLAB. It is a fixed-dose combination of three active enzymes: trypsin, pancreatic ribonuclease, and chymotrypsinogen. Ribatran is indicated as an adjunctive treatment for the management of post-surgical and post-traumatic edema, as well as acute inflammatory conditions. Trypsin and chymotrypsinogen act on edema mediators by inhibiting the kinin-kallikrein system, while ribonuclease helps relieve pain.
