Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cindilimab + olaparib is a combination therapy consisting of cindilimab, a monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), and olaparib, a small molecule inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP). Cindilimab acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, enhancing T-cell mediated anti-tumor responses by blocking PD-1. Olaparib inhibits PARP enzymes involved in DNA repair, leading to synthetic lethality in tumor cells with homologous recombination deficiencies such as BRCA mutations. This combination is being explored for synergistic antitumor activity in various advanced malignancies.
