Overview

This is a combination of six chemotherapy agents that are commonly used in various cancer treatment regimens. These drugs work through different mechanisms to target cancer cells: - Cisplatin: A platinum-based agent that cross-links DNA, preventing cell division - Cyclophosphamide: An alkylating agent that damages DNA in cancer cells - Docetaxel: A taxane that disrupts the microtubule network essential for cell division - Doxorubicin: An anthracycline that intercalates DNA and inhibits topoisomerase II - Epirubicin: An anthracycline similar to doxorubicin with slightly different properties - Gemcitabine: A nucleoside analog that inhibits DNA synthesis While these drugs are not typically administered all together in a single regimen, various combinations of these agents are used for different cancer types.
