Overview
A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of cisplatin (a platinum-based alkylating agent), endostatin (a recombinant human endostatin that inhibits angiogenesis), and etoposide (a topoisomerase II inhibitor). This regimen is primarily used for the treatment of small cell lung cancer (SCLC), particularly extensive-stage disease. Clinical studies have shown promising efficacy with response rates around 60-70% and median overall survival of 11.5-13.6 months.
