A chemotherapy combination regimen consisting of cisplatin, etoposide, and mitomycin C. This regimen has been studied for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In clinical trials, it demonstrated an objective response rate of 41% with a median duration of response of 21 weeks and median survival of 38 weeks. However, it is associated with significant neurologic toxicity (peripheral neuropathy and ototoxicity) and hematologic toxicity.
