Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLB-3000 is a therapeutic vaccine candidate being developed by ClearB Therapeutics for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) infection. It is designed to drive a functional cure by re-educating the patient's immune system to break the tolerance associated with chronic HBV infection. The vaccine is composed of two components, CLB-405 and CLB-505, adjuvanted with Alhydrogel (aluminum hydroxide). It is administered via intramuscular injection and is currently in a Phase 1b open-label, first-in-human clinical study in Australia to evaluate its safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, and antiviral activity.
