Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Clinpro Tooth Crème is an anti-cavity dentifrice developed by 3M ESPE containing 0.21% w/w sodium fluoride (950 ppm) and a proprietary functionalized tricalcium phosphate (f-TCP) technology. It is primarily indicated for the prevention of dental caries and the remineralization of enamel, particularly in the treatment of white spot lesions following orthodontic treatment. The f-TCP component is designed to remain stable in the presence of fluoride until it reaches the saliva-bathed tooth surface, where it releases calcium and phosphate ions to enhance the remineralization process and improve microhardness. It is also used to manage dentine hypersensitivity by occluding dentinal tubules.
