Overview

CLL1 + CD33 + ADGRE2 CAR-T is an experimental trivalent chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Zhejiang University for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). This cell therapy is engineered to simultaneously target three distinct antigens highly expressed on AML blasts and leukemic stem cells: C-type lectin-like molecule-1 (CLL-1/CLEC12A), CD33, and Adhesion G protein-coupled receptor E2 (ADGRE2). By targeting multiple antigens, the therapy aims to overcome the significant clonal heterogeneity characteristic of AML and prevent disease relapse caused by antigen escape, a common limitation of single-target CAR-T therapies. The product is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials to assess its safety and preliminary efficacy in patients who have failed standard induction therapies.
