Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Clobetasol propionate + regorafenib is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents used together primarily to manage and prevent hand-foot skin reaction (HFSR), a common adverse effect associated with regorafenib therapy in cancer patients. Clobetasol propionate is a high-potency topical corticosteroid that exerts anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and antimitotic effects by modulating cytokine production and cellular function in the skin. Regorafenib is an oral multikinase inhibitor targeting several protein kinases involved in tumor angiogenesis, oncogenesis, and the tumor microenvironment. The combination does not represent a fixed-dose product but rather concurrent use of both drugs as part of supportive care protocols for patients receiving regorafenib for cancers such as metastatic colorectal cancer or gastrointestinal stromal tumors[2][4][7][9].
