Clobetasol propionate + retapamulin is a topical combination drug consisting of two active ingredients with complementary mechanisms for the treatment of skin conditions. Clobetasol propionate is a potent synthetic corticosteroid that acts as an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive agent by binding to the glucocorticoid receptor, inhibiting pro-inflammatory signals, and promoting anti-inflammatory gene expression.
