Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A reduced-toxicity conditioning regimen used prior to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for patients with high-risk hematologic malignancies. This combination provides effective disease control while maintaining a favorable safety profile compared to conventional myeloablative regimens. It consists of clofarabine (a purine nucleoside analog with strong anti-leukemic activity), busulfan (an alkylating agent), and antithymocyte globulin (an immunosuppressive agent that helps prevent graft rejection and GVHD).
