Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CQUENCE-O is an oral combination pharmaceutical product developed and marketed by Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals, primarily indicated for the management of female infertility associated with ovulatory dysfunction. The formulation combines clomifene citrate, a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), with ubidecarenone (Coenzyme Q10), a mitochondrial antioxidant. Clomifene citrate acts by binding to estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus, which blocks the negative feedback of endogenous estrogens and stimulates the release of gonadotropins (follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone) to induce ovulation. Ubidecarenone is included to support mitochondrial bioenergetics and reduce oxidative stress in oocytes, potentially improving egg quality and fertility outcomes in women undergoing ovulation induction.
