Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CMLNP@miR-15a is a biomimetic, dual-targeting lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery system designed for the sequential delivery of microRNA-15a (miR-15a) in the treatment of multiple myeloma. The platform consists of alendronate (ALN)-functionalized LNPs encapsulated with BCMA-targeting CAR-T cell membranes. This sequential delivery mechanism utilizes ALN to home to the bone marrow via hydroxyapatite binding, followed by CAR-driven specific recognition of B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on multiple myeloma cells. By delivering miR-15a, the therapy aims to reprogram the tumor microenvironment, enhance CAR-T cell persistence, and overcome tumor recurrence after CAR-T cell therapy.
