**CMLVAX100** is a multivalent therapeutic peptide vaccine developed by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myelogenous leukemia. It contains synthetic peptides spanning the **BCR-ABL1 p210 b3a2 fusion breakpoint**, including five short MHC class I-restricted peptides and one longer MHC class II peptide, formulated with the saponin adjuvant QS-21. The vaccine is designed to generate BCR-ABL-specific cellular immunity against a tumor-specific fusion oncoprotein expressed by chronic myelogenous leukemia cells. In a Phase II study, vaccination elicited measurable peptide-specific CD4-positive T-cell responses and, in some patients, CD8-positive responses; the study could not determine a causal relationship between vaccination and clinical responses.
