Overview

CMV-ALT + CMV-DCs appears to be a combination immunotherapy approach using autologous T cells specific for cytomegalovirus (CMV) antigens combined with dendritic cells loaded with CMV antigens. This therapy is being investigated for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) treatment. The approach involves isolating dendritic cells from patients, electroporating them with CMV pp65 mRNA, and administering them along with CMV-specific T cells.
